Port
Security Requirements - Port of Key West
Passengers
- All
passengers must have photo identification (passport or drivers
license) along with their cruise card in order to pass through pier
security and return to the ship.
- All non-US passengers
must have their passport or a photocopy of the photo page of the
passport.
- If a passengers
returns to the checkpoint without I.D., the ship's security must go
out to the pier security to claim them.
Crew
- All crew will need
their crew I.D. and photo identification.
- All non-US crew must
also carry their I-95's. (USINS randomly checks and will fine for
this if not followed)
Luggage
- If there is luggage
arriving, ship's security will have to inspect the luggage by
opening it at the security checkpoint on the pier before it is
allowed onboard the ship.
Visitors
- If you have any
passenger / technicians / visitors / wedding visitors / crew / or
anyone who is expected to board the ship while in Key West, please
provide a list of their names to the agent who boards (or by email
prior) so that it can be given to port security. This enables pier
security to let the person pass through to the gangway.
Vehicles
- No vehicles are
allowed on the piers without advance authorization. Truck deliveries
should be requested in advance. Driver information must be provided
well in advance in order to allow time for background checks. All
vehicles are subject to search prior to entry into the secure area.
